You’ve got an entire week of time to kill, and you can’t sleep through all of it, so you need to find something to do over March Break. And because we love you all, we want to help!

So, here are 3 things that we highly recommend you plan out over your school free week, plus a couple of tips that will help you put your best face forward.

Binge Your Favourites!

Netflix, Crave, Shomi, and those DVD box sets sitting on your shelf, they all make for great binge watching material during March Break.

You can binge solo, or invite friends. Find a comfortable set up (we recommend extra blankets and pillows, as well as super comfortable clothes) and remember to have your meals and snacks planned out. The key here is to watch as much of your favourites as possible, so pick something you either love already or have heard great things about, and enjoy!

Tip: Stay in your routine. Yes, March Break means you can sleep in, and that’s awesome. But remember that it’s still important to follow your regular skincare routine to stay acne free and fresh.

Have a Board Game Marathon!

If you want to have your friends over, but not just to sit on the couch and stare at the TV for hours, board games are our recommendation!

Monopoly is a classic that can go for hours. Risk has all the friendship testing intensity you can hope for. And Mousetrap is a classic that has so many moving parts you can’t help but have a good time.

The best part of a board game get together is that you can get everyone to bring a couple of their favourite games from home and you’ll have an instant selection of options for the gang to choose from!

Tip: If you wear makeup to school during the week, March Break is a great opportunity to give your skin a break and go makeup free for a few extra days in a row. A makeup free face allows pores to breathe and stay healthy.

Brunch!

Brunch is usually a weekend thing, and it’s always dominated by groups of adults. But, March Break is the perfect time for your squad to pick your favourite restaurant and grab a table for waffles, eggs benedict, and any other delectible breakfast food you want.

We’re big fans of brunch sometime between 11am and 1pm, which still leaves plenty of time for sleeping in!

Tip: Stay hydrated! It can be tempting to drink a lot of tea, coffee, or pop when you’re home all day, but make sure you’re also drinking water to keep your body and skin healthy and hydrated.

We hope you all have an awesome March Break, whether you take a trip or stay home. If you have any great staycation ideas, leave a comment to share them with the rest of the class 🙂
